Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field research and soil analysis to assess crop health and nutrient requirements.
• Develop and recommend specific fertilization, irrigation, and pest management strategies for various crops.
• Advise farmers and farm managers on best agricultural practices to maximize yield and quality.
• Monitor crop development and identify potential problems, providing timely solutions.
• Stay abreast of the latest research, technologies, and regulatory changes in agronomy and crop science.

Requirements

• MSc or BSc degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, or a related agricultural discipline.
• At least 4 years of experience as an Agronomist or in a similar agricultural advisory role.
• Proficiency in soil analysis techniques and interpretation of results.
• Knowledge of integrated pest management (IPM) and sustainable agriculture methods.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to conduct fieldwork in various environmental conditions.
