• Conduct pre-delivery inspections and PDI for new machinery.
• Test and calibrate machinery after repairs or servicing to ensure optimal performance.
• Advise clients on machinery usage, maintenance, and potential issues.
• Maintain accurate service records, documenting all work performed, parts used, and time spent.
• Keep workshop and service vehicle organized and well-stocked with necessary tools and parts.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures when working with heavy machinery.
• Stay updated on new agricultural technologies and machinery models.

About the Role

Our client, a leading supplier of agricultural machinery and solutions, is seeking a dedicated Agricultural Machinery Technician to join their active service team in George, Western Cape. This role is essential for supporting the local farming community by ensuring that critical farm equipment operates at peak performance. You will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, repair, and servicing of a wide range of agricultural machinery, including tractors, harvesters, plows, and associated implements. This position requires hands-on expertise, a strong understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems, and a passion for agriculture.
