We're seeking an experienced Agile Business Analyst to join a leading financial services organisation on a 6-month contract.

The successful candidate will work within an Agile environment to analyse business needs, translate them into actionable user stories and ensure that solutions deliver measurable value.

An experienced Agile Business Analyst who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments and who is comfortable engaging with both business and technical stakeholders.

Must have a proven record of translating complex requirements into practical, value-driven solutions.

Requirements
  • A degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related.
  • Business Analysis certification
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Senior Business Analyst in an Agile environment.
  • Proven experience working within financial services (insurance) industry is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks.
  • Proficient in Agile delivery and collaboration tools (e.g., backlog management, workflow tracking, documentation platforms).
  • Solid understanding of systems integration, data flow design, and interface documentation.
  • Excellent skills in process mapping, requirements elicitation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Testers to translate business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
  • Support backlog prioritisation and alignment to strategic business outcomes.
  • Ensure requirements traceability and effective communication between business and technical teams.
  • Contribute to testing activities including UAT planning and validation.
  • Provide post-implementation support and ensure continuous improvement.
