Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Aftercare Facilitator to supervise and engage Grade R to Grade 3 learners after school hours at our Pretoria facility.

You will provide a safe, structured environment, assist with homework, plan arts and games, and communicate with parents and school staff. Availability 13:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday during term time, with opportunities for additional hours during school holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in childcare, school, or aftercare setting.
• Strong ability to manage behavior and maintain a positive group dynamic.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children.
• First Aid certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children aged 6-9 years in aftercare.
