Job summary

Evolution is seeking an experienced Financial Controller for the Africa region to take ownership of regional finance, including FP&A, tax compliance, treasury, and statutory reporting. You will work with the Africa CEO, Group Finance, external auditors, and local HR payroll teams to ensure accurate, timely financials across markets.

The role covers month-end close, intercompany balances, and IFRS guidance, with responsibility for regional accounting output and governance while supporting

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and general financial accounting.
• Proven experience in financial controllership and month-end reporting.
• Experience in FP&A, budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee FP&A, performance monitoring and business partnering for the Africa region.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning cycles across revenue, Opex and capex.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support regional strategy.
• Coordinate and lead internal and external financial and tax audit processes.
• Manage regional tax compliance including VAT and CIT plus regulatory submissions.
