Job summary

multiSEARCH Recruitment is seeking an experienced compliance professional for a regional compliance management role in Johannesburg, South Africa. You will support the implementation and enhancement of compliance programmes across African markets, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years' experience in a multinational pharmaceutical company, strong knowledge of compliance frameworks, and excellent communication skills. The role involves leading compliance monitoring activities and developing training programmes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a compliance role within a multinational pharmaceutical company.
• Strong experience with pharmaceutical industry compliance frameworks and operational governance processes.
• Prior supervisory or people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the regional compliance programme.
• Ensure company operations comply with applicable global policies.
• Monitor compliance risks and recommend mitigation actions.
• Lead and coordinate compliance monitoring activities.
• Develop and deliver compliance training programmes.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

Strong organisational and project management capabilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance systems/tools

Strong knowledge of healthcare and pharmaceutical regulations across African markets

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Pharmacy, Accounting, Auditing, Compliance, Business

Postgraduate qualifications in Compliance, Law, Business or Risk Management
