Job summary

A leading operations and maintenance firm is seeking a Financial Manager to oversee financial management, compliance, and contract administration across Africa. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in financial leadership and strategic oversight, especially in the mining sector. Candidates should hold a relevant bachelor's degree and have strong knowledge of financial systems. This full-time position is located in South Africa and includes occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum years senior financial management experience.
• Proven experience in contract or commercial management, preferably in the mining sector.
• Experience working across multiple African jurisdictions.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax, exchange control, and compliance.
• Experience managing HR and payroll processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategy and systems.
• Prepare financial and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with financial, tax, and statutory regulations.
• Oversee cash flow management and treasury.
• Lead and mentor finance and HR staff.
