Job summary

A leading aerospace manufacturer in Midrand is looking for an Aircraft Structures Worker responsible for cutting, fabricating, shaping, and assembling parts for various aircraft. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in aircraft structures, with a trade certification and a National diploma. The role includes interpreting drawings, using machinery, and adhering to safety standards in a team-oriented environment. This position is critical to ensuring high-quality finished products and improving manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Aircraft Structure experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience of sub-assembly, major assembly, and on-aircraft installation preferred.
• Experience in aircraft sheet metal/structures maintenance and manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Consult drawings and schematics to manufacture specified detailed parts.
• Cut, bend, shape, and manufacture sheet metal parts.
• Use machinery to complete assigned jobs.
• Sub-assembly and assembly of parts.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
