Job summary

Woolpert is seeking a skilled aerial survey pilot to join a high-performing operations team across Africa. You’ll fly multi-engine aircraft, acquire precise data, uphold safety standards, and represent Woolpert in the field.

Based in South Africa, you will execute survey sorties, work rotations of up to six weeks, collaborate with sensor teams, and apply rigorous airmanship and procedures in dynamic environments. A CPL with instrument rating and extensive flight hours are required.

Qualifications

• Valid CPL with current medical certificate.
• Minimum 1,000 hours total flight time.
• Current night and instrument rating.
• At least 120 hours on twin‑engine aircraft.
• Valid passport.
• Flexibility to work away from base for up to 6 weeks at a time.

Responsibilities

• Execute aerial survey sorties from a South Africa base across multiple locations.
• Operate within diverse environments while maintaining world‑class data quality.
• Work away from base for rotations of up to six weeks to meet mission requirements.
• Collaborate with operations and sensor teams to plan, brief, and debrief missions.
• Apply strong airmanship, adherence to procedures, and sound judgment in dynamic field conditions.
