Overview

Our client is a business-to-business publishing house based in Johannesburg and is looking for a high-energy, results-driven Advertising Sales Executive who knows the travel and tourism industry, thrives on networking, and can generate new business.

Responsibilities
  • Business development: Acquire new advertising clients within the travel and tourism sector by identifying opportunities and presenting compelling proposals.
  • Brand promotion: Represent Now Media at travel and tourism industry events, promote advertising solutions, and support marketing initiatives.
  • Client management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with travel and tourism suppliers, agencies, and other key stakeholders.
  • Sales operations: Manage proposals, contracts, payments, and CRM updates with accuracy and professionalism.
Qualifications

Educational requirements: Matric. Relevant tertiary qualifications will be highly beneficial.

Experience and skills required:

  • Travel or tourism industry background
  • Advertising sales experience is an advantage
  • KAM (Key Account Management) experience preferred, with the ability to convert account management skills into new business generation
  • Experience with wholesalers (airlines, tour operators, hotels, etc.) preferred
  • Previous travel agent experience will be ideal
  • Dynamic personality, strong presence, loves networking, and motivated to write their own paycheck
  • Driver's license and own reliable vehicle
