Overview

Sentara Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Comprehensive Weight Loss Solutions team. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within a well-established, multidisciplinary team committed to providing exceptional patient-centered care for those pursuing surgical and non-surgical weight loss solutions.

Position Highlights
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
  • Setting: Combination of inpatient and outpatient care
  • Team Structure: Join a supportive group of 3 physicians, 2 advanced practice providers, and 7 clinical and administrative support staff
  • Hospital Coverage: Rounding at Sentara Obici Hospital and Sentara Norfolk General Hospital
  • Call: No call responsibilities
  • Focus: Pre- and post-operative management, patient education, and ongoing care for weight loss and bariatric surgery patients
