Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Unix / Linux servers.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Apply updates, patches, and security fixes.
• Document systems and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with IT security standards.
• Analyse and integrate systems using AI.
• Design and develop system solutions.
• Collaborate across teams and support operations.
• Maintain code repositories and manage vulnerabilities.
• Participate in continuous improvement.

Skills

Proficiency in Unix / Linux systems

Strong coding in Bash

Strong coding in Perl

Strong coding in Python

Strong coding in SQL

Solid networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, SSH, TCP / IP)

Familiarity with VRO, Rudder, Ansible, GitHub

Experience with Hashicorp Vault / Nomad

Education
