Job summary

Placements24 is partnering with a premier medical spa in Mossel Bay, Western Cape to recruit a Clinical Aesthetician & Dermal Therapist. The role focuses on skin health through advanced aesthetic treatments in a professional medical environment.

The successful candidate will have a Beauty Therapy/Somatology Dermal Aesthetics qualification and at least 3 years' experience, with strong diagnostic and client-care skills, and a passion for evidence-based skincare.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Beauty Therapy, Somatology, or Dermal Aesthetics.
• Minimum 3 years in clinical aesthetic setting or medical spa.
• Experience with advanced aesthetic treatments and client consultations.
• Strong knowledge of skin anatomy and treatment modalities.
• Excellent communication and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and with medical team.
• Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct skin assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Perform advanced facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, LED therapy.
• Educate clients on skin health and at-home regimens.
• Maintain accurate client records and progress.
• Stay updated with dermatology and aesthetic advances.
• Maintain hygiene and safety in treatment areas.
• Assist with inventory and restocking of supplies.
• Build trusting relationships with clients through exceptional service.
• Recommend and sell skincare products to complement plans.
• Adhere to clinic policies and ethical guidelines.
