About the Role

Our client, a highly specialized technical services provider in Randburg, Gauteng , is seeking an experienced Advanced Cleaning and Sterilization Technician. The technician will utilize sophisticated cleaning techniques, specialized equipment, and sterile processes to maintain critical environmental conditions. Key Responsibilities

• Perform specialized cleaning and sterilization procedures in controlled environments (e.g., cleanrooms, laboratories, medical device manufacturing areas).
• Operate and maintain advanced cleaning equipment, including HEPA vacuums, fogging systems, and electrostatic sprayers.
• Utilize approved disinfectants, sterilants, and cleaning agents according to strict protocols.
• Conduct environmental monitoring and sampling to verify cleanliness and sterility levels.
• Implement and adhere to rigorous Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all cleaning and sterilization tasks.
• Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations (e.g., GMP, ISO standards) and client requirements.
• Maintain detailed records of all cleaning, sterilization, and monitoring activities, including validation reports.
• Manage inventory of specialized cleaning supplies and consumables, ensuring stock is maintained at required levels.
• Participate in training sessions to stay current with evolving technologies and best practices in cleanroom and sterile environment maintenance.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in specialized cleaning, sterile environment maintenance, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with cleanroom cleaning protocols and related equipment is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP, ISO, or other relevant quality management systems.
• Understanding of contamination control principles and sterile techniques.
• Ability to operate and maintain specialized cleaning and monitoring equipment.
