Job summary

A well-established legal firm in Johannesburg is seeking a Senior and Junior Admitted Conveyancer. The roles involve meeting clients, drafting bond and transfer documents, and managing conveyancing administration. The ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience and be proficient with various conveyancing software. This position offers competitive remuneration packages.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 (JUNIOR) to 5 (SENIOR) years post admission experience as a Conveyancer.
  • Own transport and willing to travel to meet clients.
  • Own client base will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Meeting with and signing up clients for transfer and bond documents.
  • Explaining bond documents and their implications to clients.
  • Attending to daily administration work in the conveyancing department.
  • Drafting and checking bond and transfer documents.

Skills

Experience with transfers

CLIENT A well-established Legal firm based in Rivonia Sandton, with a well-established Conveyancing Division has TWO positions – one for a SENIOR Admitted Conveyancer and one for a JUNIOR Admitted Conveyancer The Client is offering a remuneration package CTC of : Junior – R

  • Kpa JOB PURPOSE AND RESPONSIBILITIES meeting with and signing up clients, both transfer and bond documents (both inside and outside of the office at locations throughout Gauteng), especially explaining bond documents to clients and the consequences of mortgaging property attending to daily administration work in the conveyancing department (lodgement and execution lists, target and fee lists, processing of registrations etc.) experience with transfers, bond cancellations and bond registrations (especially for SA Home loans and / or Nedbank Bond Registration is preferred) drafting and checking bond- and transfer documents being able to calculate finances on all conveyancing matters prepare and execute transfer, bond cancellation and bond documents Job Requirements : admitted Conveyancer (admitted Notary will be an advantage) minimum of 3 (JUNIOR) to 5 (SENIOR) years post admission experience as a Conveyancer own transport and willing to travel to meet with clients know how to navigate E4, WebConvey, LexisConvey, Windeed, Prosign and LexisSign own client base will be advantageous
