Introduction

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative & Sales Support Specialist to join our team.

This role is vital to our daily operations and growth, expanding on traditional administrative duties to provide essential support to our sales and operations departments.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Front Office & Administration: Serve as the first point of contact for the company, managing a multi-line switchboard, greeting visitors, and handling correspondence; provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office; assist with social media scheduling and posting.
  2. Sales & Customer Support: Assist the sales department by preparing accurate quotes and following up on customer inquiries; provide administrative support for all sales activities; maintain and analyse sales data using Microsoft Excel to support reporting and operational decision-making.
  3. Technical Assistance: Use your technical aptitude and willingness to learn to confidently handle product-related inquiries; assist with orders for our specialized range of products.
Desired Experience & Qualification

Required

  • The ideal candidate will possess a professional demeanour, strong organizational skills, and a keen interest in technical products.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and demonstrable analytical skills for data interpretation.

Advantageous

  • A Grade 12 / Matric certificate is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a similar administrative or sales support role within a manufacturing, industrial, or technical environment is a significant advantage.
