Administrative & Operations Support Specialist

We are seeking an Administrative & Operations Support Specialist for a full-time, on-site position based in Durban, KZN. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the design, manufacturing and installation teams, coordinating logistics, ensuring efficient supply chain processes and serving as a key point of communication between various departments, clients and suppliers.

Strengths:

  • Proven experience in sales or understanding of customer‑centric strategies
  • Expertise in operations management and the ability to streamline logistics
  • Project management skills, with prior experience in managing tasks, deadlines and resources effectively
  • Proficiency with relevant software and tools for data analysis and project efficiency
  • Ability to multitask and problem‑solve in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment
Responsibilities
  • Switchboard management and screening calls

  • Checking couriers and following up
  • Ad hoc filing, invoicing and sending statements
  • Ensuring good communication between Design and Operations departments
  • Welcoming and hosting clients
  • Multitasker – able to physically move between departments and loading areas

  • Reliable transport and committed to working hours
  • Zulu and Afrikaans speaking is an advantage
  • Signage experience is a huge advantage

The role would entail being an all‑rounder and good communicator. One of the main responsibilities is booking couriers, completing waybills with accuracy and following up. The person would need to stay calm and efficient under pressure and also use interactions with clients as an opportunity to sell.
