Overview
The overall responsibility of the Financial Planning and Investment Administrator is to provide administrative support to clients and IFAs in Cornerstone Investment Advisory Services and Cornerstone Financial Planning.Assisting the IFA and admin teams with client review scheduling and processors, portfolio performance reporting, database management, client segmentation, and compliance. This all to be executed timeously and to ensure that systems are continuously being updated and process are followed accurately.
General Administration, Client Reviews & Reporting
- Assistance and support to both the financial planning and wealth management teams which includes administration, data management, filing, data capturing, compliance monitoring, appointment setting, portfolio reviews preparation and performance updates, etc.
- To demonstrate a clear understand of the urgency of the work that is needed and to adhere to any deadlines, so that all work is all completed on time.
- Ensure practice management system - MS Dynamics /SharePoint- is updated with the latest review dates, portfolio review and performance information.
Client Servicing | Managing the Relationship with the Client
- Deliver exceptional client service to clients throughout their lifecycle and journey with Cornerstone. This means being responsive, meeting turnaround times and managing expectations when needed.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with clients by keeping them informed of any updates.
- Manage and actively find solutions for client queries and concerns and elevate where needed.
Brand Ambassador | Being a Cornerstone Ambassador
- Be a Cornerstone ambassador by looking for and bringing in new business opportunities when they arise.
- Be a Cornerstone ambassador by actively engaging in social media posts for the business.
- Effective use of practice management system - MS Dynamics (customer service)/SharePoint - ensuring that all work is updated and tracked real-time.
- Effective use of the practice management system - MS Dynamics (sales) - ensuring that any relevant sales opportunities and information is tracked real-time.
Requirements and working experience
- Matric with a University pass
- Relevant industry qualifications
- RE5 qualification and Class of Business
- Minimum of (2) years’ experience in financial planning administration
- Computer Literacy (MS Office package with excel proficiency)
- Sound knowledge of Financial Planning and Investment Advisory Services
