Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role for an Administrative Clerk based in Durbanville Hills, Cape Town. The Administrative Clerk will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative and accounting support duties to ensure efficient office operations. This includes managing phone calls, processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with daily office coordination. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail‑oriented, and computer literate, with experience using IQ Retail / Kerridge systems and Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle general administrative and clerical duties, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Process invoices and manage accounts (debtors / creditors) using IQ Retail.
  • Maintain accurate accounting and inventory records.
  • Assist with daily reconciliation and reporting.
  • Support management with scheduling, document preparation, and communication.
  • Ensure smooth office operations and customer service excellence.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Matric (Grade 12) is required.
  • Experience with IQ Retail / Kerridge systems (essential).
  • Knowledge of computer‑based accounting packages, including Excel.
  • Previous administrative or accounting experience.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and phone etiquette.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Relevant certification or training in Office Administration is advantageous.
