Job summary

A leading manufacturer of catering and baking equipment in Durban is seeking an experienced Administration Clerk. Responsibilities include general administration duties, managing stock administration, invoicing, and preparing reports. Candidates must have proven experience as an Administration Officer, familiarity with Pastel Evolution, and be proficient in Afrikaans and English. Attractive salary package based on market rates.

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as an Administration Officer essential.
  • MUST have experience in Pastel Evolution.
  • At least 2 years proven experience of working with stock.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand Afrikaans & English.

My client, a leading manufacturer of catering and baking equipment, is looking to employ an experienced Administration Clerk to join their team in Durban.

Areas of Responsibility (Your duties will include but are not limited to)
  • General administration duties as required, filing, stationery, etc.
  • Responsible for administration with regards to stock – sales orders and goods transfer
  • Responsible to load invoices for payments
  • Following up on payments
  • Creating, updating and maintaining records and databases
  • Scheduling management calendar and update as needed
  • Responsible for petty cash
  • Preparing reports on expenses, office budgets and other expenditure
  • Keeping record of Meetings
  • Sending emails, answer queries from employees and suppliers
  • Managing of office supplies and placing orders
Knowledge, skills, and experience required
Educational Background
  • Proven work experience as an Administration Officer essential
  • MUST have experience in Pastel Evolution
  • At least 2 years proven experience of working with stock
  • Grade 12
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand Afrikaans & English
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Strong organization skills with a problem solving attitude
