Position

ADMIN / POD CLERK

Key Performance Areas
Operation
  • Daily allocation of duties
  • Creating POD’s on Parcel Perfect (in-house program) accurately
  • Follow up with clients if invoices etc is not correct
  • Double check weight, volume and invoices before POD gets manifested
  • Allocate waybills to manifests, forward manifests to WHK
  • Let WHK / JHB know about any out of the ordinary deliveries or POD’s
  • Let accounts know if the client don’t have an account so that they can create a pro-forma invoice
  • If an account is blocked, check with debtors if you can load the goods
  • Ensure SA & Namibian Clearing instructions is correct and saved correctly
  • Answer and reply to calls and emails
  • Ensure excellent customer service
  • Assist with answering telephones
  • And any other duties related to this position.
Maintenance

Report any problems to Management.

Human Resources
Grievances

Inform Management of complaints received and assist to solve them.

General
  • Set an example for staff.
  • Use your own initiative, cope in an emergency, accept change and keep up to date with new technology.
  • Ensure that any first aid or fire action is taken speedily as required.
  • Be punctual
  • To be available to work extra time
  • To be familiar with rules and regulations and security procedures
  • To perform any other reasonable duties as prescribed by the management
