Key Performance Areas
Operation
- Daily allocation of duties
- Creating POD’s on Parcel Perfect (in-house program) accurately
- Follow up with clients if invoices etc is not correct
- Double check weight, volume and invoices before POD gets manifested
- Allocate waybills to manifests, forward manifests to WHK
- Let WHK / JHB know about any out of the ordinary deliveries or POD’s
- Let accounts know if the client don’t have an account so that they can create a pro-forma invoice
- If an account is blocked, check with debtors if you can load the goods
- Ensure SA & Namibian Clearing instructions is correct and saved correctly
- Answer and reply to calls and emails
- Ensure excellent customer service
- Assist with answering telephones
- And any other duties related to this position.
Maintenance
Report any problems to Management.
Human Resources
Grievances
Inform Management of complaints received and assist to solve them.
General
- Set an example for staff.
- Use your own initiative, cope in an emergency, accept change and keep up to date with new technology.
- Ensure that any first aid or fire action is taken speedily as required.
- Be punctual
- To be available to work extra time
- To be familiar with rules and regulations and security procedures
- To perform any other reasonable duties as prescribed by the management
