Overview

We are looking for Actuarial Graduate Trainees to join our Munich Reinsurance Africa Branch Team.

Program & Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Take part in soft skills and technical training
• Conduct day-to-day business unit specific tasks
• Participate in team specific tasks and deliverables
• Participate in cross-divisional project teams
• Participate in team and business projects
• Transform client data into a usable format for analysis
• Calculate group risk quotes, for all benefits, using the tools provided
• Understand the modelling and pricing of reinsurance and insurance products
• Identify risk, assess these and document accordingly
• Check data and create movement analysis
• Review, report and calculate reserves
• Use and run models
• Review, compile and/or provide content to actuarial / risk reports

Qualifications

Your profile should include:

• Recent Actuarial Science Graduate (Undergraduate / Honours) – due to onboarding timelines, final year students completing their undergraduate degree in
• Will not be considered for this intake
• Good coding / programming skills
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask
• Working knowledge of statistical and mathematical methods and analysis
