Responsabilités

• Conduct detailed industry research to identify emerging trends and opportunities and translate findings into recommendations.
• Support distribution channels with actuarial queries and high‑quality written communication.
• Provide actuarial support to IT investigations and testing support as needed.
• Analyze PPS data and experience to support broader business functions.
• Produce clear, in‑depth technical marketing material for distribution.
• Compile management reports and perform special investigations as required.

Description du poste

Functions of an Actuarial Analyst include coordinating, preparing, and performing actuarial analyses, which are required when designing and developing new products. The role includes data analysis using appropriate models to gather actionable insights and translating actuarial and product expertise into clear Technical Marketing material to support distribution teams and the wider Life Solutions teams (Research and Development, Product Development and Pricing). The role includes close collaboration with the Product Development and Pricing teams, providing exposure and potential career growth into these areas.

Qualifications

• Completed University Degree majoring in Actuarial Science, honours is preferable
• Making good progress with actuarial exams, with at least 5 exams completed or equivalent exemptions.

Experience

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conducting detailed industry research to identify emerging trends and opportunities, and translate findings into recommendations that support the development of new initiatives.
• Support distribution channels w.r.t. queries of an actuarial nature and respond with high quality written communication, supported by actuarial calculators where required.
• Providing actuarial support to various other areas, and the broader business, e.g. IT related investigations, testing support
• Analysing PPS data and experience to better support the broader business in its functions
• Producing clear, in depth and easy to consume technical marketing material for distribution consumption
• Compilation of management reports and special investigations from time to time
