About the role

We’re looking for a results-driven Accounts Receivable Team Leader to take charge of our global A/R operations. You will lead the team responsible for patient collections clinic invoicing and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payments. This is a high-impact leadership role that requires strong analytical thinking process optimization skills and team coaching experience.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of Accounts Receivable staff providing coaching and guidance to ensure they perform their duties effectively.
  • Analyze and optimize the A/R process identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage all aspects of the accounts receivable function including invoicing collections and cash flow recording.
  • Manage the verification investigation of patient receipts vs. internal controls & systems to ensure 100% receipt of commissions owed (100% of appointments 100% accurate patient receipt totals).
  • Monitor outstanding debts proactively follow up on overdue payments and escalate problem accounts to management when necessary.
  • Monitor team daily activities and productivity to ensure team members are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train new team members on A/R procedures and company policies.
  • Analyze team performance and come up with recommendations to improve team efficiency and coach team members to improve AR collection rates.
  • Generate reports to track A/R performance identify trends and provide insights for improving cash flow.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments like Sales Partner Services Reporting to ensure clear communication regarding invoices and payments.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity when handling financial data.
  • Develop and maintain medical and dental clinic relationships and communication via email phone call or WhatsApp.
  • Be available and ready for unexpected daily needs of Medical Departure’s office and team members.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead position.
