Our client, a millennial Accounting Firm in Pretoria East, is on the hunt for a detail-driven Accountant to join their vibrant team!

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports and statements
• Perform reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings
• Ensures compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Liase with external auditors and tax advisors as needed

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional SAIPA Certification and completed articles
• Proven experience in accounting, payroll, tax, income tax, SARS registration and process'
• Proficiency in accounting software, Xero and Caseware compilation of financial statements
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards
• Excellent track record of customer service
