The position is based in Bellville, Cape Town.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. To document financial transactions in the General Ledger system.
2. Accounts payable (i.e. processing invoices, payments and reconciliation of accounts).
3. Accounts receivable (i.e. distribution of statements, following up on outstanding invoices, processing remittances, reconciliations).
4. Payroll processing and reconciliations.
5. To maintain financial security by following internal controls.
6. Maintenance of internal systems and client files (electronic and hard copies).
7. Stay up to date and comply with latest legislation.

Desired Experience & Qualification

1. 5+ years’ experience as an Accountant.
