Job summary

Humankind in Cape Town is seeking an Accountant who bridges finance and technology to optimise systems and processes. You’ll dive under the hood of our finance platforms, identify inefficiencies and implement better ways of working.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in accounting, a financial qualification, and a genuine interest in technology-enabled finance. This role welcomes hands-on problem solvers who enjoy cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years' experience in Accounting or a related Finance environment.
• National Diploma / Degree in Financial Accounting, BCom Accounting or a related qualification.
• Experience with system implementation, optimisation or finance system projects.
• A genuine interest in technology and finance systems.
• Strong understanding of traditional accounting and finance processes.
• Willingness to work in Cape Town CBD.
