Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of accounting clients independently.
• Maintain accurate client accounting records and perform reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, and other statutory returns.
• Handle monthly payroll processing for multiple clients.
• Prepare year-end files and draft financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with SARS, CIPC, and other statutory bodies.
• Liaise directly with clients on technical queries and submission deadlines.

The Role: Accountant (Client Portfolio Management)

As the Accountant, you will be responsible for independently managing a portfolio of clients across accounting, payroll, VAT, and tax services. You will ensure compliance with South African regulations while delivering accurate and timely submissions. This is a client-facing role requiring a high degree of organisation, professionalism, and technical competency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of accounting clients independently
