RedCat Recruitment is seeking a qualified and experienced ACCOUNTANT / ASSISTANT FINANCIAL MANAGER for a well-established, growing concern, position based in Pretoria, Gauteng.

MUST BE ABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY!!

REQUIREMENTS
  • Grade 12.
  • Qualification in Accounting.
  • Valid driver's license / own reliable vehicle.
  • Person must be able to speak, read and write in English.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Pastel / Sage Evolution ESSENTIAL!
  • 3+ yrs relevant working experience in a similar position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.
  • Record journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Manage accounts payable (suppliers) and accounts receivable (customers).
  • Track fixed assets, depreciation, and amortisation schedules.
  • Maintain petty cash and reconcile bank accounts.
  • General Administrative Duties accounting related.
  • Draft letters to banks, auditors, and suppliers.
  • Manage business registrations, renewals, and CIPC compliance.
  • Prepare and submit PAYE, UIF, and SDL returns.
  • Prepare the Income Tax calculations and submit on SARS.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Liaise with SARS during audits or queries.
  • Assist with Cashflow Reporting.
  • Assist in the yearly audit by our external auditors.
