Overview

Hire Resolve’s client is urgently looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join their finance team in Oudtshoorn. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and performing various accounting tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Keeping basic accounting records of clients.
  • Preparation of financial statements.
  • VAT processing for clients on Xero and Sage Accounting.
  • Handling of SAID inquiries and submission of supporting documents as required by SAID.
  • Submission of income tax and VAT returns.
  • Execution of basic accounting procedures.
  • Reconciliation of financial information of clients.
  • Preparation of monthly management statements.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Xero, and Sage Accounting.
  • Bilingualism in both Afrikaans and English will count in the candidate’s favor.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • A completed SAIPA or SAICA clerkship is essential.
  • Knowledge of PowerBI, PowerApps, and Microsoft SQL will be advantageous.
