Key responsibilities
- Financial reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, such as balance sheets and profit-and-loss statements, for clients.
- Tax services: Compute taxes, prepare tax returns, and ensure compliance with all state and federal tax regulations for various clients.
- Auditing: Conduct internal audits to review and analyse financial transactions and documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Budgeting and forecasting: Prepare budget forecasts and advise clients on future costs, profits, and funding based on financial data analysis.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile client accounts, including accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely bank payments.
- Data management: Organize, monitor, and record all financial transactions for clients. Maintain the confidentiality of financial data and perform necessary database backups.
- Client consultation: Advise clients and internal teams on financial performance, potential improvements, and strategic planning.
Required skills and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting or a related field is common.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
