Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare full financial statements in line with IFRS for SMEs.


• Review trial balances, ledgers, and reconciliations for accuracy.


• Oversee quality control of bookkeeping and monthly processing.


• Support with SARS submissions (VAT, PAYE, Provisional & Income Tax).


• Lead financial and tax clean-up projects


• Provide technical guidance to junior staff on accounting, payroll, and tax.


• Identify and implement process improvements and SOPs for efficiency.


• Collaborate with leadership to build scalable systems and ensure compliance.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• BCom.


• Finance or Accounting degree


• 3–5 years' experience in an accounting role.


• SAIPA, AGA(SA), or CIMA would be beneficial


• Strong knowledge of IFRS for SMEs and compliance processes.


• Advanced proficiency in Draftworx or CaseWare.
