Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Correspond with vendors and respond to enquiries in a timely manner.

Position

Accounts Payable Administrator

Description

This is an exciting opportunity for Accounts Payable Administrator to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will join a global team with a vast knowledge base. Daily tasks will focus on invoice capturing, payments and creditor reconciliations with regular communication with both client and vendors.

Responsibilities
  • Correspond with vendors and respond to enquiries timeously
  • Review and verify invoices are in line with expected billing info of client
  • Enter and upload invoices into expense allocation system
  • Set invoices up for payment on banking platform and prepare electronic transfers, payments and payments runs
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Post transactions and journals to accounting system and maintain up to date books and records
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and produce trade creditor reports
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Maintain vendor files and make call-backs where required
  • Perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions
  • Ad-hoc client requests and project work
  • Liaise with core-accounting team and provide assist with information requests
Skills Required
  • Previous accounts payable / creditor clerk / payments team experience desirable
  • Knowledge and understanding of general accounting principles
  • Experience with online banking systems and accounting software
