Overview

Hire Resolve’s client is currently seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their team within the construction industry in Polokwane. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with key clients, driving sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve agreed‑upon sales targets
  • Achieve agreed‑upon profitability
  • Actively look for and create opportunities within the market
  • Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with current and future customers
  • Provide after‑sales service and regular entertainment for customers
  • Establish and maintain a healthy prospect pipeline
  • Achieve agreed‑upon customer visits
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of inquiries, quotes, and tenders
  • Loading of rental orders on the ERP system
  • Assist account personnel with collection of outstanding and overdue payments
  • Timely and accurate completion of weekly / monthly reports
  • Compliance with all reasonable instructions
  • Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Control
  • Compliance with the company’s or client’s SHEQ code of conduct and standards.
  • Compliance with all COVID protocols required
Requirements
  • Grade 12
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Mobile units / construction product knowledge
  • Successful track record in achieving targets
  • Report writing and previous experience using an ERP system
  • Ability to read construction drawings
  • Good understanding of sales & rentals
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and colleagues
  • Must be able to use MS Office package
  • Good sales & communication skills
  • Energetic, target‑driven, driven & adaptable
  • Competent in administrative tasks (., doing quotations, weekly sales reporting, lease agreements)
  • Good planning and organizing skills
