FullFunnel needs an Account Manager who can own the commercial and operational health of a portfolio of B2B clients.
This is not a meeting-coordination role. It is not a ticket queue. You will understand what each client is trying to accomplish, connect the work to that objective, identify problems before they become escalations, and drive the right people toward a result.
You do not need to have spent years with “Account Manager” in your title. We care more about what you have owned, what you have personally executed, how quickly your scope has grown, and whether you can turn incomplete information into a clear plan.
About FullFunnel
FullFunnel is a B2B go-to-market and applied AI agency. We help companies improve how they create demand, operate revenue programs, and execute the work behind growth.
Our Managed Support teams execute across marketing, RevOps, GTM operations, content, paid media, and outbound. Our Agentic Services team delivers proprietary AI-powered systems as managed programs. Account Managers sit across that work and make sure the client experiences one coordinated FullFunnel team.
What This Role Actually Is
You will own a portfolio of client relationships from operating cadence through commercial health.
You will know what the client purchased, what outcome they expect, what FullFunnel has committed to, and whether the work is producing business value. When the plan stops matching reality, you will not wait for someone else to notice.
The best person for this role combines three qualities:
- Practitioner credibility: You understand GTM work because you have done meaningful parts of it yourself.
- Operator discipline: You create clear ownership, decisions, follow-through, and repeatable processes.
- Commercial judgment: You can protect a relationship while addressing risk, scope, margin, retention, and expansion directly.
- AI Usage: FullFunnel is an Applied AI company servicing the B2B GTM space, and we expect you to understand how to leverage Perplexity, CoWork, or Codex to execute workstreams.
Core Responsibilities
Own the client
- Serve as the primary operating owner for a portfolio of B2B clients
- Establish clear goals, stakeholders, decision rights, and communication cadence
- Lead client meetings with a point of view, not a collection of status updates
- Translate specialist activity into business impact, decisions, risks, and next steps
- Identify dissatisfaction, confusion, or missed expectations before they become formal escalations
Own the plan
- Maintain an accurate account plan, scope, milestone schedule, and commitment log
- Coordinate work across marketing, RevOps, sales, content, paid media, and technical specialists
- Identify dependencies, surface tradeoffs, and resolve ambiguity
- Make sure every meeting and recommendation ends with a named owner and due date
- Keep CRM and account records accurate enough that another leader can understand the relationship
Own the commercial health
- Understand retained revenue, account profitability, delivery utilization, and renewal timing
- Protect scope while preserving trust
- Recognize expansion opportunities that solve real client problems
- Partner with leadership on renewals, commercial changes, and at‑risk accounts
- Separate activity from value and explain the difference clearly
Improve the system
- Identify recurring account-management failures and redesign the process behind them
- Contribute templates, operating cadences, QA checks, and playbooks
- Use AI and automation to increase analytical coverage and reduce administrative work
- Maintain human judgment where client trust, commercial decisions, and nuance matter
What We Require
- Experience personally executing work in at least two GTM disciplines, such as demand generation, paid media, SEO and content, lifecycle marketing, marketing automation, RevOps, sales operations, analytics, research, or consulting
- Evidence that you have owned an outcome, not only completed assigned tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication with both specialists and executives
- Comfort reading funnel, pipeline, campaign, utilization, or financial data
- Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, clients, projects, or workstreams
- A track record of learning new systems quickly and applying them to real work
- The judgment to raise a difficult issue early, recommend a course of action, and stay accountable through resolution
What Moves You Up the List
- You earned multiple increases in scope or responsibility inside one organization
- You worked in an agency, consulting firm, professional-services business, or another multi-client environment
- You can show writing, teaching, speaking, or client-facing work that explains a complex idea clearly
- You designed or improved an operating process and can describe the before-and-after
- You have owned retention, expansion, utilization, margin, forecasting, or portfolio performance
- You have current HubSpot, Google, analytics, automation, or AI workflow credentials
- You maintain a serious side project, freelance practice, professional body of work, or active learning habit
- You have worked with B2B technology, professional services, research, or other considered-purchase businesses
What Does Not Matter
- Whether your current title is Account Manager
- A specific degree or field of study
- University prestige
- A career spent in one industry
- A North American background
We will evaluate evidence of execution, ownership, judgment, communication, and growth.
