SUMMARY :
Our client, a leading engineering firm specialising in modular process systems, is seeking an experienced Account Manager (Retention) to join their team. The successful incumbent will be responsible for managing and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with existing clients, ensuring client satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business.
Position Info
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and nurture long-term client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Act as the main point of contact for client accounts and coordinate internal delivery teams.
- Proactively manage contract renewals and implement effective retention strategies.
- Monitor client satisfaction levels and identify potential risks or opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with technical, and operations teams to ensure seamless client experiences.
- Identify and pursue upsell or cross-sell opportunities aligned with clients' needs.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure CRM data integrity.
Minimum Requirements :
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or (essential).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in account management, client services, or key account retention.
- Proven experience in renewal management, client satisfaction, and commercial negotiation.
- Understanding of modular engineering, project lifecycle, or process equipment will be advantageous.
