A consulting firm in Johannesburg seeks an experienced sales professional to drive IT technical sales and manage accounts within government and private sectors. The ideal candidate should have over 8 years of IT sales experience, with at least 6 years in account management within the public sector. This role emphasizes building relationships, executing account strategies, and tracking sales performance.
Staying informed about industry trends, government procurement processes, and private sector opportunities.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients in both government and private sectors.
Developing and executing account strategies to meet sales targets
Tracking and reporting on sales performance, pipeline status, and account growth metrics
Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Driving sales growth by identifying and closing new business opportunities
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years' IT Technical Sales experience
Must come from an integrator Company
Proven track record of success in managing government and private sector accounts.
Minimum of 6 years Account Management and Sales Experience in the Public Sector within the ICT industry
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure
