Role Overview

As an Account Director at WBWR, you will be the primary bridge between our clients and agency teams, ensuring exceptional delivery across integrated campaigns. You will lead through‑line marketing initiatives, oversee project execution, manage and mentor team members, and maintain strong client relationships. You’ll also be responsible for aligning creative work with business goals, financial targets, and regulatory requirements while driving innovation across campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead extensive client and account management for major clients, ensuring consistent satisfaction and growth.
  • Manage complex creative approval projects, bridging client and internal teams, and maintaining high creative standards.
  • Inspire and guide creative teams, overseeing campaigns across brand positioning, identity, above‑the‑line, digital and social, experiential activations, retail, CRM & loyalty, and product launches.
  • Develop and implement account strategies that drive measurable client growth and success.
  • Oversee budget, financial forecasting, and creative production costs to ensure profitable and efficient campaigns.
  • Nurture client relationships through challenging creative processes, providing guidance and thought leadership.
  • Present and negotiate effectively with clients, including C‑suite executives.
  • Mentor and manage team members, fostering development, collaboration, and high performance.
Experience & Skills
  • Proven track record in client/account management within an agency environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex creative projects and approvals.
  • Portfolio of successful integrated campaigns across multiple channels and touchpoints.
  • Strong experience in management, financial forecasting, and budgeting for creative production.
  • Ability to develop and implement account strategies that drive client success.
  • Expertise in bridging client services and creative departments, managing approvals, and ensuring quality outcomes.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance in marketing campaigns is a plus.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and facilitation skills, including experience with C‑suite executives.
  • Experience mentoring and managing teams.
  • Passion for creative innovation, emerging trends, and new technologies.
  • Curiosity for integrating new channels, data, and technology into campaigns to enhance consumer engagement.
