We are looking for an Account Administrator I to provide technical support to customers.
Essential qualifications include knowledge of transmission and distribution systems, power system protection, relay testing and commissioning, and related SEL products.
Job Overview
As an Account Administrator I, a typical day may include:
- Create and maintain project files and project tracking records such as time reporting, financial records, schedules, budgets, and summary spreadsheets.
- Review project proposals for accuracy and adherence to style guidelines.
- Reconcile project expenses and receipts.
- Administer the flow of project documents between internal stakeholders.
- Enter and track orders, manage logistics, and monitor past‑due accounts.
- Track and report project measures such as expenditures vs. budget, progress vs. schedule, and quality related measures.
- Audit and report compliance with applicable processes and identify potential project problems.
- Order office supplies, coordinate internal and customer meetings, and provide administrative / office support as needed.
- Assist with creating supporting presentations to management on details of the project process.
Responsibilities
The position also involves simplifying procedures, performing other duties as assigned, and ensuring project documentation is accurate and up to date.
Qualifications
- High School diploma.
- 2+ years of project support experience.
- Experience working in a professional setting.
- Strong computer, telephone, proofreading, and filing skills.
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
- Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
- Background check results satisfactory to SEL.
