Job summary

You will work on audits, planning, evaluating controls, and supporting clients while pursuing ACCA/SAICA qualifications, ensuring IFRS compliance and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• BCom Accounting Degree/Honours from an ACCA-accredited university.
• Auditing as a subject (preference for Honours Degree).
• Advanced Auditing as a professional module.
• South African citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits on financial statements and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist in planning, executing, and finalising audit engagements.
• Evaluate internal controls and identify improvements.
• Collaborate with clients to gather financial information and documentation.
• Maintain strong client relationships and address queries professionally.
• Analyse financial data and prepare accurate audit reports.
• Identify discrepancies and provide corrective recommendations.
• Ensure IFRS, ACCA, and SAICA guidelines are followed.
• Stay updated with changes in auditing standards and regulations.
• Work with audit teams, managers and partners on engagements.
• Participate in training sessions and support peers.
• Aim to meet ACCA or SAICA qualification competencies.
• Take initiative in self-learning and technical skills development.
