Role Overview

This is a predominantly on-site role based in Rivonia Johannesburg for the position of Academic Manager.

The Academic Manager will oversee the delivery of our Higher Certificate programme.

Responsibilities

• Manage course programmes and coordinate with subject matter experts to keep educational materials up‑to‑date and accurate.
• Collaborate with external partners and supervise the learning journey of students, ensuring compliance with national education frameworks.
• Support workshops, training sessions and corporate learning initiatives to promote industry growth and skills development.

• Strong experience in content development, curriculum design, and educational program management.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage tasks and collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.
• Proficiency in coordinating with industry professionals and external partnerships.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including effective presentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively on‑site within a dynamic and evolving industry setting.
• Experience in the Cannabis industry or knowledge of Cannabis‑related education and regulations is a significant advantage.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
