How you'll role

As an Academic Consultant, you will play a crucial role in revolutionizing education by driving the adoption and effective implementation of Educational Initiatives' offerings in partnered schools across South Africa and Zambia. Utilizing your pedagogical expertise, you will ensure that schools achieve measurable learning outcomes. You'll be integral in training educators, analyzing educational data, and advocating for best practices in competency-based learning.

What you'll do
  • Ensure high utilization of Educational Initiatives' programs in allocated schools by conducting training sessions, workshops, and review meetings
  • Schedule and lead stakeholder discussions with principals, teachers, and coordinators
  • Act as the single point of contact for assigned schools, coordinating with internal teams to resolve school-specific issues
  • Analyze student and teacher performance data to identify trends, gaps, and actionable insights
  • Guide schools in using diagnostic tools to refine teaching strategies
  • Collect and act on feedback from educational stakeholders to improve program delivery
  • Work closely with the sales team to provide academic expertise during school onboarding and retention efforts
  • Develop schools' self-sufficiency by training educators on Educational Initiatives' ecosystem
  • Advocate for best practices in competency-based learning and data-driven instruction
What you'll need
  • B.Ed, Diploma, or Degree in Mathematics or English
  • 3-5 years of teaching or training experience in R-12 schools
  • Proven track record in interpreting educational data, including assessments and learning analytics
  • Deep knowledge of Mathematics and English
  • Ability to advise school leaders and teachers with evidence-based recommendations
