Key Requirements & Skills

• Matric / Grade 12 Equivalent
• Proficient communication in both English and Afrikaans (verbal and written)
• Administrator level in MS Outlook, Word, Excel
• CCTV surveillance, Data capturing, Radio control and alarm monitoring required

• Systems Training: Experience in operating alarm monitoring software, Cathexis CCTV, Bosch Video Management, CiiMs or GV Chase
• Strong character and able to make decisions with minimum input from management
• Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer service orientation
• Attention to detail with a responsible and accountable approach to instructions, procedures, and policies
• Ability to detect problems and report information to appropriate personnel
• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations and provide protection services to individuals on campus
• Skill in performing building security and lock procedures

PROVEN EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience working at a Higher Institute would be advantageous

• 2 Years\' experience in a control room that manages and responds to CCTV and alarms
