Responsibilities

• Establish a nurturing teaching environment that promotes active, engaged learning.
• Set, mark, and moderate assessments in line with IEB standards.
• Ensure lesson planning is completed consistently and collaboratively with colleagues.
• Produce high‑quality resources and teaching materials for students.
• Teach extra lessons when required to support learners.
• Participate fully in the High School’s extramural programme.
• Attend school functions and special occasions as directed by the Head.
• Respond to emails and telephone messages within 24 hours.
• Uphold professional standards of punctuality, behaviour, and work ethic.
• Undertake any additional reasonable tasks as determined by the Head of School.

Curro is seeking to appoint a high school FET phase teacher at Curro Hillcrest in Hillcrest. The role involves teaching and coordinating a range of subjects as per the Curro curriculum for the FET phase. The teacher is responsible for the active teaching, knowledge transfer, skills development and growth of positive attitudes among learners through integrated and focused teaching approaches.
