Job summary

Charlton Kings is seeking compassionate support workers to meet the daily needs of clients in their homes in South Africa. You would travel to the client's home and assist with daily tasks as agreed, promoting independence and dignity while respecting privacy.

The role includes helping with washing and dressing, shopping and meal preparation, medication prompting, daily routines, respite support, socialising and community access.

Job description

You would be responsible for meeting the support requirements of our clients, in a way that respects the individual and promotes their independence. The type of support that you would be providing is no different to what would reasonably be given by a member of the person's family. For instance, you may be providing help with bathing and dressing or domestic support.
