Job summary

Premium Consulting in Cape Town, Western Cape, is seeking experienced Boiler Operators for a 6-month contract. You will operate 5-ton and 8-ton coal-fired steam boilers, ensuring safe, efficient operation in a hospital environment where attention to detail matters.

The ideal candidate has Grade 12/Matric, a valid Boiler Operator Accredited Certificate (John Thompson preferred), and at least 6 years of boiler-operating experience along with strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• Grade 12/Matric is required.
• Valid Boiler Operator Accredited Certificate (John Thompson preferred).
• 6+ years boiler operating experience.
• Experience operating 5-ton & 8-ton coal-fired steam boilers.
• Formal boiler training.
• Knowledge of OHS requirements and regulations.
• Hospital environment experience/familiarity will be advantageous.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
