Job summary

A leading audit and consulting firm is seeking a Senior Manager to play an integral role in the Second Line of Defense team in Johannesburg or Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of audit engagement review experience and a chartered accountant qualification. Responsibilities include performing reviews, providing guidance, and enhancing audit quality across engagement files. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of audit engagement review experience post-articles.
• Proven track record in achieving audit quality.
• Experience in performing QP reviews or audit technical support.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2LoD reviews on selected engagement files.
• Discuss findings from reviews with engagement teams.
• Liaise with DPP and Risk Management for risk identification.

Skills

Strong interest in audit related matters

Good working knowledge of ISA

Strong problem‑solving skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks

Strong communication and coaching skills

Education

Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification
