EY invites ambitious Vacation Work Students to join our Actuarial practice in January/February 2024 in Johannesburg and Cape Town. You will gain exposure to IFRS17, SAM and consulting engagements while working with some of Africa's leading actuarial professionals.

This opportunity is designed for a 3rd-year actuarial student or Honours candidate who is eager to learn, work as a team player, and develop technical skills through a hands-on, growth-oriented environment.

Qualificações

• 3rd year in an Actuarial undergrad degree or busy with Actuarial Honours
• More exemptions preferred
• Keenness and interest in financial reporting (SAM/Solvency II, IFRS, EV)
• Team player and proactive, self-starter
• Curious mindset and keenness to learn
• Critical thinker and solution-orientated approach

Responsabilidades

• Supporting on actuarial audit engagements covering IFRS17 and Solvency Assessment and Management calculations and results, or
• Supporting on consulting engagements like HAF work, ORSA or IFRS17 implementation

We’re currently looking for a Vacation Work Students to join our Actuarial practice in January/February 2024 in Johannesburg and Cape Town. Our team consists of more than 100 actuarial professionals across 5 locations in Africa - Johannesburg, Cape Town, Mauritius, Nairobi and Lagos.
