We are seeking an experienced Business Insight Analyst who will report to the Head of Business Insights. This pivotal role is responsible for proactively providing analysis and creating compelling insights to drive key business decisions and growth.

The role involves ensuring data integrity, responding quickly and agilely to business needs, and supporting the delivery of effective reporting tools to enhance performance.

Requirements

• Data Integrity:
• Maintain master data sets such as sector, product, and pest types used for global reporting, with a robust exception process to identify issues or gaps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate and improve data quality.
• Identify third-party data requirements and support procurement and integration.
• Data Analysis:
• Work with global stakeholders to understand priorities and conduct advanced analytics using SQL, BigQuery, Python, and Google Sheets.
• Develop predictive models to support planning and identify emerging opportunities.
• Build expertise in data science technologies and techniques.
• Collaborate with the AI team to integrate AI functionalities into data analysis projects.
• Reporting:
• Define data and technical requirements with the Data Platform team.
• Measure performance, prepare QVDs, develop POC reports, and utilize tools like Qlik and Looker Studio for analytics and visualization.
• Insights:
• Provide insights into complex data relationships, trends, and patterns.
• Present clear, actionable findings to senior stakeholders, utilizing visual insights and predictive models.

Qualifications & Experience

• Grade 12 or equivalent; relevant degree in data analytics or similar is preferred.
• Over 3 years of data analytics experience in large matrix organizations.
• Strong numeracy, data manipulation, and analytical skills.
• Proven influencing and change support skills.
• Curious, questioning mindset with the ability to identify key insights.
• Ability to turn data into clear, visual insights.
• Advanced Google Sheets / MS Excel skills; proficiency in SQL, BigQuery, Python, and visualization tools like QlikSense or Looker Studio.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated, responsible, flexible, resilient, and results-oriented.
• Interest in AI applications for data analysis and insights.
