Job summary

Sotera Health's Sterigenics division seeks an Operator to monitor sterilization systems and ensure safe, timely product flow in the facility. You will observe critical readings, adjust equipment, and document process data.

The role requires at least a High School Diploma, 6–12 months in a sterilization setting, and fluent English. Forklift experience and basic math skills are needed; lifting up to 50 lbs is required. This is an on-site posting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in a sterilization environment.
• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Willingness to work established shifts.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must have forklift driving experience.
• Computer skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system including pressure, temperature and humidity readings.
• Turn valves and adjust controls to ensure safe operation.
• Observe sterilizers and assist with repairs as needed.
• Document and record process readings.
• Report damaged product to the Shift Supervisor or Process Supervisor.
• Report system problems to Maintenance Supervisor or Technician.
• Oversee work of Process Assistant Operators.
